The tour covered all the main attractions that are in the city Center. We walked at our own pace and were not rushed. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

We had 3 days to explore Armenia outside of Yerevan. I worked with Anna prior to our trip to arrange three customized days of private tours for our family. Anna was very helpful and responsive.

We are avid travelers with high standards and everything met our standards. The buses were comfortable and spacious. The tours were well-balanced and being private, we had the flexibility to change plans as we went along. The Pharos team was pleasant to work with and professional. Our only regret is not having more time to discover so many other unique places and attractions that Armenia has to offer.

Pre-trip planning was smooth and pleasurable with the help of Anna, a friendly agent who is passionate in showing you all of Armenia. We took the liberty to remove a one-day visit to an adventure park in the itinerary and replaced that with visits to a winery, a brandy factory and a wine spa. Anna was very flexible and willingly and swiftly made all the changes and contacts. During the trip, our driver cum guide, Arsen, did his best navigating our ways to all the scenic spots listed in the itinerary. Pharos is a tour agency that is evidently quite green and yet to gain more experience.

I did most of their day trip tours and was very impressed with the knowledge and more importantly how they made it so easy to plan. They also shared a lot about life generally in Armenia and made one feel like a good friend of theirs than a tourist. The team here is also very flexible with timings and helped plan trips as per my convenience. I went to Armenia solo and wanted to see most of the best sightseeing places in one week. I didn’t know much about Armenia, or local history before the trip. I contacted Pharos in advance and discussed in WhatsApp what kind of places I would like to see, where to go etc, to use time efficiently on my holiday. Tours were customized based on my needs, and we made changes on the fly while I learned more from the history. I saw 80-90%+ of the most famous and best sightseeing/cultural locations around Armenia; temples, monasteries, lake Sevan, multiple excellent restaurants and local food, wineries, nightlife, sky/wine/Jazz bars, Vardavar (a festival where people drench each other with water), etc. While traveling around, it didn’t felt I was traveling solo with a guide; I was traveling with new friends. We were discussing all the time and I learned a lot from the local history, traditions, and cultures, etc. The nature of Armenia is so beautiful and there are many mountains everywhere. Anna and Arsen really love their country and the tours they’re making. Both speak good English and they are really outgoing people. Now when I’m already in my home country, it gives a warmth good feeling when I’m thinking of all the places I saw, discussions, deep conversations and laughs we had together while traveling. I will definitely recommend Pharos tours to everyone who loves traveling, likes to learn more from the history and cultures of the areas, not just stay in a hotel for a week drinking mojitos. There are still a few places left I want to see more (Artsakh), so I’ll contact you again when I’m coming to Armenia again 🙂 The whole trip was truly amazing and thank you Anna and Arsen for everything.
