Itinerary
Approximate duration: 3-4 hours.
Explore the magnificent Echmiadzin Mother Cathedral which is considered to be the oldest cathedral in the world.
In the Treasury Museum of Echmiadzin, you will discover samples of church art as well as applied art, cross banners, Altar curtains, Right Hands, pyxes, vestments, lanterns, different crosses, staffs, ancient Armenian carpets, pottery and wood engravings.
Discover the 7th-century church of Saint Gayane.
Visit Saint Hripsime seventh century Armenian Apostolic church which is a perfect example of Armenia’s cross-cupola churches.
With an additional fee you can also discover the 7th-century Zvartnots Temple and Museum.
This experience may be combined with additional experiences such as sun-cooked food tasting, Levons divine underground cave discovery, a visit to a traditional house museum or any other experience on your choice with an additional fee.
